LUCA Office Simulation is an innovative learning platform that prepares prospective business people for the challenges of everyday office life in a practical way. In close cooperation with the University of Mannheim and other partners, Cap3 GmbH developed an open access solution that depicts realistic office scenarios. Learners, teachers and researchers can thus specifically promote professional skills and train them under realistic conditions.

Realistic office simulation: learning through experience.
Developing LUCA Office Simulation required a highly detailed reproduction of real office situations combined with user-friendly, intuitive operation. The goal was to create a flexible web application that allows individually configurable scenarios and questionnaires. An automated feedback system was integrated to reliably track and evaluate learning progress. Special attention was given to scalability to ensure stable performance, both in classroom settings and digital learning environments, even with high user numbers.

Together with the University of Mannheim and other partners, Cap3 created a modular, web-based office simulation for configurable scenarios that can be flexibly designed, executed and evaluated. Running on nearly any device, the platform delivers high performance and scalability thanks to modern web technologies. Realistic tasks and semi-automated assessments foster learning success, while usage data reveals problem-solving skills. Teachers can follow exams in real time, offer chat support and provide targeted feedback. Built to meet the highest data protection standards, the platform is ready for data-driven analyses with AI and machine learning as well as future extensions.
